If you have a question about fishing, go into the shop and ask your question. Don't ask 100 questions. Target the fish that you want to catch and ask them if it's possible, what to do and where to go and what to use. They will tell you straight up if it's a good idea or not and what would be a better idea for good fishing and exactly how to do it.
